Been dumped by boyfriend you still love? It’s a scenario that happens every day to countless women. The man they love, and planned on spending their life with, suddenly decides he’s not into them anymore and leaves. It’s a very unfair situation that can leave you feeling as though you have no control over your life. You do have control though, maybe more than you think. There’s plenty you can do to get that man back for good.
The first thing many women feel when they are dumped by a boyfriend is rejection. Rejection is actually what drives that desire to get him back. It’s what spurs on all that panic you feel and it’s that panic that makes you act desperate. You likely feel if you don’t do something right now, you’re going to lose him forever. The fact of the matter is if you sit back for awhile and pace your every move, you stand a much better chance of getting him back.
You shouldn’t do anything for at least the first few weeks after being dumped by boyfriend. Don’t contact him, don’t date someone else in a lame attempt to make him jealous and don’t sit and wallow in self pity. There’s a process that must take place after a break up and it involves your man realizing what he’s done. When a man misses a woman he falls back in love with her. If he doesn’t see or hear from you, he’ll miss you. It’s as simple as that. You need to stay strong, stay focused on your own life and wait for him to contact you.
Once he does call or text you, you need to stay calm and focused. Don’t tell him how much you miss him and never say you want him back. Be a little coy and removed. Tell him you’re doing well and that you realized the break up was just what you needed to. Bring up the idea of being friends. If he wants to get back together he’ll accept your friendship. From there it’s just a matter of time until you can rebuild the romance again on your own terms.
